Most of us are conditioned to see ourselves as small. And because we’re conditioned to be modest about ourselves and not to appear as boastful or arrogant, we put strong judgments on ourselves when we try to break out of the mold. Consequently, we live small and we love small.
Soul Mate love is different. It’s a very high vibration of love, where each individual person is on a spiritual path. And part of that spiritual path is seeing themselves in a more spiritual light. They use words to describe themselves like a divine or sacred Self, a Higher Self, or a soul. Loving ourselves in a higher way takes work, but it’s the way to higher love.
Two people who are on a spiritual path and come together to express a higher quality of love tend to see each other in spiritual terms as well as human. This adds a whole new dimension to each other and its powerful!

We two share an amazing soul mate love. We write from a place of enormous happiness. Our soul mate path is to identify each other’s soul – to describe it, support, love, and empower it by discussing it and sharing ways we see it growing within each other. As a result, we have helped each other to see our true self as a soul – beautiful, glorious, pure, good, and of love itself.
In turn, this has deepened our divine connection in wonderful ways.
Scotty just had a birthday. As a gift, Shannon wrote out new ways she has been noticing his soul. Although this is an ongoing practice with each other, this was even more special because she had some new insights that she couldn’t wait to share at our special lunch by the beach.
What Shannon wrote and handed Scotty created enormous gratitude, happiness, and empowerment. After he read it, Scotty told her he felt totally blissful. What did she write?
In this particular 4 pager, entitled, “This is how God causes me to have insight into your soul,” she explained how she saw him as a presence of love.
Her intention was not to flatter him, but to share her deep insight into his soul. It was beautiful, and it rang with truth. Each of us needs to be witnessed. And as we are witnessed from a higher realm, we tend to rise to the higher realm.
As she expressed, she sees – and feels – Scotty as a love presence. Even more than being a human who is doing his best (although this applies!), she sees detail of his loving presence and its qualities. His presence often feels radiant to her. And she has experienced his radiance penetrating situations, elevating a normal experience to a higher, more lovely experience of peace, harmony, and kindness.
As we try to live close to this Source, we open up to all kinds of wonderful qualities that we never knew or saw before – not only about ourselves and each other but about many others who come into our experience as well. This is what we personally live for! Seeing the divine in each other and in everyone, as much as possible. This creates soul mate love in mass!
This puts us squarely on a soul path where we experience an elevated vibration of a very high quality of love that is beautiful beyond description. As a result, we have become more knowledgeable about ourselves as souls. And we live within this powerful energy field of love.
