I Dare You to Give Yourself Permission!

Permission granting is powerful to unlock you from stuck positions.dare

For what have you given yourself permission? And perhaps, more importantly, for what have you not given yourself permission? Could this be what’s been holding you back?

For example, to what extent do you give yourself permission to do the following? It may help you to rate yourself between 1-10 as you read down the list.

  • Love yourself, every day, especially when you disappoint yourself.
  • Forgive yourself – for everything in the past, present, and all that’s to come.
  • Allow yourself to make mistakes. You’re learning.
  • Stand up for yourself. Lovingly speak up.
  • Release guilt & shame, as well as negative thoughts and feelings about yourself. Don’t accept another’s accusations or judgments about you.
  • Dream big and reach for those dreams.
  • Reveal who you are, even when it’s uncomfortable.
  • Release people from your life who take from you and don’t give back.
  • Live with honesty and transparency. “I am who I am.”
  • For at least 5 minutes each day, practice being as wonderful as you possibly can – even if you’re alone. And take a bow.

You may have found that some of these listed may create a reaction from you. I propose some dares for you.

Dare to give yourself permission to go past your upbringing, your self-imposed boundaries, & your habits that no longer work for you . I dare you to create the life you want by giving yourself permission to feel loved, loveable, worthy, and valued.

I dare you to let yourself off the hook when you fail. I dare you to move into your heart and love others so deeply that you cause them to feel your love, realizing they need love as much as you do. Dare to forgive – others as well as yourself! Dare to give generously!
